Our client seeks to recruit a highly professional and diligent Food and Beverages Trainer/Tutor. The position is responsible for tutoring catering students at the school of catering. The individual is charged with ensuring that the students are well trained to meet and exceed the set standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
TRAINING AT THE SCHOOL OF CATERING
Creatively teaching the assigned subjects for 1st and 2nd year students. This is both theory and practical lessons
Prepare students for attachment.
Assist students source for attachment places to gain experience
Supervise the students during their attachment period
Register the students for the KNEC exams when they are due.
Organize for extracurricular activities for the students
Provide guidance for the students on spiritual matters
Qualifications and Experience
The individual must possess a diploma or advanced certificate in catering and housekeeping/ Institution management and a KTTC certificate in technical education.
In addition they should be Mature Christian, diligent, honest and responsible with strong leadership skills.
They should be able to work well in a team requiring diverse skill levels. Be organized and good planner.
At least 2 years experience in a similar position as a tutor

Participate in the organization’s other programmes e.g. medical camps, sports extravaganzas, Participate in the morning devotions with the staff members and students Prepare necessary schedules for the department to work efficiently.Qualifications and Experience
