Our client is a global Multinational FMCG company whose regional operations are managed from Kenya. The purpose of this role is to provide decision support to the Supply Chain, Customer Service team and planners in order to achieve strategic goals through provision of Financials analysis, Key Performance Indicators, monitoring and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing rolling forecast for Supply Chain costs (excl. Material Costs) including base assumptions for forecast.
Advising the key supply chain partners on actual performance versus set targets/budget through provision of monthly reports showing analysis of key Supply Chain financial indicators e.g. make costs per ton, utility consumption per ton. (This is especially for other countries in the cluster).
Co-coordinating and preparing annual Supply Chain budgets for key partners in line with set strategic objectives.
Monitoring the execution of budgets within the Supply Chain in the Cluster to ensure delivery of a cost effective value chain.
Analyzing the gross margin movement through detailed analysis of the supply chain costs to drive improvement of business margins.
Partnering with the planners and supply management teams to deliver an effective cash forecasting process and projects to improve cash delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
First Degree in Finance or Accounting with CPA (K) qualification.
Minimum five (5) years experience in a similar role.
Working Knowledge of SAP.
Strong Analytical skills and strong excel skills.
Good communication and Presentation Skills.
Concern for Rigor and Team Working.
Proactive individual with high integrity and influencing skills.
